East Herts Ramblers is now in its 31st year and some of our founder members are still walking with us regularly - testament to the health benefits of walking and the friendliness of our Group.
New members are always welcome to any of our walks and if you are new to walking and unsure of your fitness and ability to walk all day we also provide figure-of-eight walks so you can come along for just morning or afternoon.

The Royston group meets at the Town Hall car park (THCP) or the Heath Sports Centre car park on Baldock Road (Heath CP) in Royston. We sometimes meet in Buntingford at the High Street Car Park, Bowling Green Lane, behind Budgens (Buntingford CP)
We normally have a coffee stop at 11am and go for a drink in a pub at lunch time or after an evening walk.

We are an active sociable group who put on walks every weekend usually alternative Saturdays and Sundays and a shorter midweek walk once every three weeks. Car sharing from Watford is encouraged.
We organise 3 weekends away and an annual holiday each year.

We organise long and short walks mainly in the country north of London. Most walks are suitable for reasonably fit people. Dogs are permitted providing they can be kept under close control.
