A number of walks for disabled and wheelchair users take place during the summer. These are reasonably short, up to three miles, normally on a week day Contact Alan Lever 01226 235546 for details.
The main meeting places for weekend walks are:
Birdwell (Moor Lane): Leave the M1 at Jctn 36. Take the A61 to Barnsley and Moor Lane is the first left, only a short distance from the roundabout. Meet behind the old police station - now a centre for spiritual healing. SE 348003
Darton: Public car park, (rear of Post Office) Church Street. SE 311100
Dodworth: Railway station, on main A628 Barnsley Road. SE 311053
Carlton car park: A61 from Barnsley. B6132 Laithes Lane to Spring Lane - Carlton Church on left. Car Park straight ahead. Used during the winter months. SE 367101

If you do not have your own transport this is not a problem, as lifts and car sharing can be arranged - please contact the walk leader to discuss (telephone number displayed in details of each walk).
Monthly open meetings are held at the Dorothy Hyman Stadium in Cudworth; Contact the Secretary on 01226 384041 for dates and and any other group details which may be required.

A friendly,welcoming group that walks every Saturday and alternate Wednesdays. Walks to suit everyone take place in the local Rotherham area or in areas of South and West Yorkshire, the White and Dark Peak areas of Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire.
On the alternate Wednesdays there is a short walk option (4-6 miles) starting from Thorpe Hesley Church.SK 378960.
