Clandon to Boxhill & Westhumble

15 miles

Meet CLANDON station, Surrey, 9.53 (Waterloo 9.03, Clapham Junction 9.12). A linear walk of about 15 miles at a medium to fast pace to Boxhill & Westhumble station, with short stops at viewpoints. Via Clandon Downs to the North Downs Way, then Shere to Sutton Abinger for a pub. lunch at The Volunteer. Continuing via Abinger Roughs and Ranmore Common. Buy a day return ticket to Clandon, which should suffice although the stations are on different lines.

The High Weald Landscape Trail: Part 1

Meet HORSHAM station, West Sussex, 9.48 (Victoria 08:36, Clapham Junction 08:41, East Croydon 08:55). A linear walk of about 17 miles to Haywards Heath, with lunch at Slaugham. This walk is described as "Meandering through one of England's finest landscapes".
