Seriously strenuous, with 800m of ascent. Route is via Toy's Hill, French Street, Hosey Common, Tower Wood, Crockhamhill Common, Mariners Hill and Crockham Hill. Lunch in Royal Oak, although no reservation has been made as numbers unknown, bring sandwiches in case busy due to Bank Holiday. Return via Chartwell, Toy's Hill and Scords Wood. Possible exit point when pass through Toy's Hill at 10.4 miles and 660m ascent. For reference, Classic Training Trek has 630m ascent.

A circular walk on Ashdown Forest in the morning with beautiful distant views via Home Farm and Crows Nest Nest Clump for lunch stop at Crow and Gate Pub at Poundgate. Return will be via High Hurstwood, Sleeches and Brook House to walk leader's home where all are invited for tea and cakes.

Bromley CAMRA will join us for a local walk and to sample some Real Ale. There will be a morning stop for coffee or beer at the Blacksmiths Arms in Cudham. We will visit both the Queens Head and the George and Dragon in Downe and will stop for lunch. We will then walk back to Farnborough. Those who wish to do so can join CAMRA members in the Woodman and the Change of Horses after the walk. There is an option to catch a bus from Downe to Orpington or Bromley after lunch.

We climb up to the North Downs Way, and then head for the delightful Water Wood, returning to Kemsing for our picnic lunch/drink. The more strenuous afternoon takes us down to Otford before returning to Kemsing. Several woods should give us a magnificent display of bluebells.

A interesting clockwise walk through woods and crossing the beautiful valleys of the Rivers Tillingham and Brede with distant Views, via Great Shelley Wood, Pelsham Farm and Cock Marling with a lunch stop at The Queen's Head overlooking the Brede Valley at Icklesham, then returning on 1066 Country Walk to Snaylam Farm, then Udimore where Queen Elizabeth reviewed the fleet and Rowland Wood.

*Eastbridge is in Suffolk and lies north of Leiston and to the east of the B1122. From the Eels Foot Inn in Eastbridge, go north for about a half mile and park on the roadside just before a sharp right hand bend.

A varied walk including Dunwich Heath , woodland, seashore and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere. The walk is shorter than usual to allow plenty of time in one of the hides that overlook the lagoons adjacent to the beach. National Trust café for lunch. Note late start time.

Starting from Orford the route follows the river Alde opposite the once secret MoD test site on Orford peninsula, as far as Aldeburgh. The route then loops back behind Orford, finishing alongside Orford Ness. Lots of waders. No lunchtime facilities but teashop at the end. No hills.

A fairly gentle walk in the High Weald, skirting The Stone House (now a boutique hotel favoured by a Beatle and a well known chef) and passing the pheasant nursery and later the remains of an old priory. The route goes through woodland and also gives views of the valley.

We pass Harrison's Rocks and then pick up the High Weald Landscape Trail to Hartfield for our picnic lunch/drink. The afternoon sees us following the River Medway to Groombridge. Quintessential Wealden landscape its summer mantle.

*To reach the car park turn left from the A24 (heading North from A25) onto the A2003 just after passing under the railway line. When the main road turns left take the minor road which goes straight on and then right at the T junction onto Ranmore Road. Meet in the field behind the car park. Car share with a National Trust member, otherwise a £3.50 charge is required. If the weather is good, come early and bring your breakfast. There are picnic tables and a great view.

Ranmore Common, Norbury Park, Juniper Bottom and Box Hill. Picnic or pub lunch at Mickleham. Due to adverse weather conditions (the River Mole has flooded) I have not walked out this route. Please watch the web site for any changes.

*Meet by St Mary's Church. Enter Hadlow by the A26 and park in one of two generous lay-bys either side of main road, or turn left into Carpenters Lane which has on-street parking in quiet housing estate.

We will catch glimpses of Hadlow's Folly before joining the Greensand Way at West Peckham, a quiet village in the midst of orchard country. We will stop at the village green. The16th Century Swan pub is worth a visit and has its own Micro-brewery. On returning we will pass through Oxen Hoath Park with its beautiful manor-house, now a hotel and retreat.

Return W along River Rother then N over Kent Ditch via Linkhill. Hopefully stunning views of K&ES railway under full steam.

*Meet Newlands Corner CP. From A3 towards Guildford, take Wisley exit through Ripley. Turn L onto A247 towards West Clandon. After crossing A246 towards Shere the CP is on R after 1 1/4 miles.

A scenic walk over St Martha's Hill down to the River Wey to Shalford for lunch (pub or picnic). We return via Chilworth Gunpowder Mills and the Tilling Bourne Valley, recrossing the ridge and climb back up to the start point.
